As we wrap up what has been a busy 2022, we are pleased to share with you all the exciting achievements, milestones, and progress that has been made at Ashbury Terraces since launching in April of this year.
Given the sites unique location within a heritage conservation area, the project is of great local significance, and Coronation Property is excited to bring to market a sympathetic development in such a rare location.
The architecture of Ashbury Terraces promotes diversity, character, and high amenity, and every corner of the project has been detailed to the highest design standards. So much so, Ashbury Terraces was a finalist in the 2022 World Architecture Festival awards under the Future Project: Residential category. A huge achievement and testament to the project design teams involved to be recognised on a global scale.
Nationally, Ashbury Terraces has already received accolades, recently winning the 2022 Sydney Design Awards under the ‘Architecture Proposed Multi-Residence’ category and has subsequently been shortlisted for the 2022 Australian Design Awards.
Over the last few months, the development team has been working closely with the Canterbury Bankstown Council and town planners, the design team, engineers, and architects to reflect the rich history of the site.
After extensive collaboration and work, Ashbury Terraces was issued Development Approval. This approval has allowed the construction team to commence site establishment works on the sites former brick factory, removing and clearing all material and waste from the site.
Most recently, the Coronation Property team was joined by our Ashbury Terraces project partners to officially break ground on the site, marking the official commencement of construction.
From now, you will start to see a lot of activity happening on site, with the first stage of construction involving site preparations and earthworks.
