Welcome to the first Ashbury Terraces Project Update for 2023.
During the first quarter, the team successfully completed activities including the removal of approved trees and ongoing site clearing. Most importantly, the team reached the target of obtaining Construction Certificate 1, which allows us to now commence bulk excavation and shoring wall works.
These works are a critical step in the construction process and involve installing permanent retaining walls to what will become the basement level, and support the earth to prevent it from collapsing.
Looking ahead to Q2, we are excited to progress works and achieve several project milestones. With the team on track to complete excavation works, the focus over the next quarter will be the completion of essential inground services.
Following these works, we are expecting to pour the basement slab at the end of Q2, an exciting milestone that will mark the building’s ascent out of the ground.
Behind the scenes, Studio Circle & Co, our in-house design team has been closely working and collaborating with Coronation’s development and construction teams, as well as the award-winning architectural teams behind the project, SJB and 360 Degrees Landscape Architects.
The core focus of Studio Circle & Co is to ensure meticulous quality control through every phase of the project – from its design conception to construction completion, and customer hand-over
Through this collaboration, we have been able to identify opportunities to optimise the design, and streamline construction processes, while maintaining the highest level of quality.
