Coronation Property is stepping into Sydney’s inner-west with the launch of Ashbury Terraces; a collection of premium garden terraces located in the suburb of Ashbury.
The family-owned developer and builder is planning to transform the 15,365 sqm industrial site into a luxury residential estate with the stage one release, comprising of 59 two and three storey terrace homes and three exclusive Penthouses. Coronation Property secured the parcel of land in 2014 as one of just two neighbouring spaces available for renewal in the tightly held suburb.
The suburb of Ashbury is located approximately 10km from Sydney’s CBD, allowing the boutique community to benefit from Sydney’s thriving hospitality, retail, and cultural offerings.
Designed by a handpicked team of Australia’s leading designers from SJB and 360 Landscape Architects, Ashbury Terraces will seek to encapsulate the charm of the surrounding neighbourhood in all aspects of the development. The design of the terraces takes inspiration from the area’s parklands and well-defined heritage character to honour its setting and blend seamlessly into its surrounds.
Residences will feature open-plan living spaces with expansive outdoor entertaining areas and gardens. The project celebrates living amongst greenery, bringing the outdoors in across multi-level gardens from the ground up. The dedicated team have worked collaboratively to ensure the private outdoor retreats have views of the surrounding landscape and city skyline.
At the heart of the project is ‘The Garden’ – a large communal space with dining areas, a gym and a 20-metre heated swimming pool. Landscaped pathways connect W H Wagener Oval acting as an extension of the already sizeable backyards. The development will also incorporate a pedestrian link between Milton Street and the park for both residents of Ashbury Terraces and the broader community to utilise.
Construction is anticipated to commence as early as Q2 of this year, with residents expected to move in by mid-2024. Terraces and luxury penthouses will range from $1.795 to $3.2 million.
Aras Labutis, Head of Urban Transformations at Coronation Property, “Being next to a heritage conservation area, our vision carefully considered the area’s significant history to create a collection of residences that improve as they age. Ashbury Terraces will be a great example of how the built environment connects seamlessly to its surrounding green spaces.”
“Ashbury Terraces has been designed to bring communities together and` welcome families at every stage of life to enjoy a home that embraces light, high-amenity and the natural surrounds.”
“Some of Australia’s best design minds are working on the project, meaning everything about the interiors of Ashbury Terraces exudes refined designer living.”
“Ashbury Terraces represents a significant milestone for Coronation as our first foray into Sydney’s inner west, collaborating with some of Sydney’s best designers, the precinct we are creating carefully considers the community’s significant history, while helping to shape its next chapter.”
Principal Architect & Director, Adam Haddow SJB “Our shared vision with Coronation was to create a collection of residences built on community and amenity – a place that truly improves as it ages.”
“The suburb of Ashbury has heavily influenced our approach; it is contemporary yet also at one with the surrounding streets and neighbouring parkland.”
